What Investor Relations Officers and Governance Professionals Need to Know for the 2010 Proxy Season: Rule 452 and Other SEC Regulations

 

DENVER, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) announced today that its December 8, 2009 meeting will feature a panel of proxy experts who will discuss recent SEC changes including the latest NYSE Rule 452 which eliminates broker discretionary voting for board members. Panel members will summarize other important SEC rules, provide key data on proxy voting patterns in 2009, and give recommendations for how to prepare for the 2010 proxy season.
