Its trademarked product XR-88, removes and stabilizes heavy metals from acid mine drainage, including lead, nickel, cadmium, zinc, chromium, hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) compounds and arsenic to name a few. This is a breakthrough for the mining industry and those that work in it.

Unlike most other remediation technologies, the XR-88 stabilization bond grows stronger year after year. In most applications with acid mine drainage only a very dilute 0.1% to 0.2% solution of XR-88 is needed to control metals making it very affordable to use.
