Xidax Custom PC Builder Now Accepting Dogecoin World's First Enthusiast Custom PC Manufacturer to Accept Dogecoin
SALT LAKE CITY, March 25, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Xidax PCs has announced today the world's first Enthusiast Custom PC manufacturer to accept Dogecoin - a peer-to-peer digital currency - as a method of payment on all Xidax Custom Desktop & Laptop PCs.
Zack Shutt, Executive Vice President at Xidax PCs, said, "it's a no brainer" to accept Dogecoin. Xidax gained a reputation as a cryptocurrency trendsetter in the custom PC market by being the first enthusiast PC system builder to accept Bitcoin in early January of 2014.
While Dogecoin started off as an Internet joke in its infancy, this cryptocurrency is no longer anything to be laughed at. Through trading and transactions between users, the currency went from being worth nothing to being valued at more than $65 million.
"The Dogecoin community is awesome. We've been approached by many customers who were excited to see us become the first custom PC builder to accept Bitcoin, but wanted to see us take it a step further," Shutt said. "What's important is listening to our customers, and that's why accepting Dogecoin was a no brainer for us."
