SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Xobni, the popular Microsoft Office Outlook search and relationship plug-in, today announced that in recognition of its industry leading innovation on the Microsoft Office Outlook platform, it has been selected to join the Microsoft BizSpark One program, a unique invitation-only program designed to accelerate the growth of high potential startups through a One-on-One relationship with Microsoft Corp. In November 2008, Microsoft BizSpark was launched as a global program offering software, support and visibility to early stage startups. Microsoft BizSpark One is the latest expansion of the BizSpark program.
The amount of information and number of relationships people have to manage is spiraling out of control and workers are being forced to spend significant time at work searching for details that are critical to a company's success. Since launching in 2007, Xobni has delivered the most advanced search and relationship-management solutions available for Microsoft Office Outlook. With more than 3 million downloads, Xobni is used by employees in more than 80 percent of Fortune 500 companies.
"We're thrilled that Microsoft has selected Xobni to join the BizSpark One program," said Jeff Bonforte, Xobni CEO. "Our goal is to continue to improve the experience within Microsoft Office Outlook, so people can quickly find information and access other high-value relationship content directly from their inbox."
With Xobni, users quickly find critical information buried deep in their inbox, along with key attachments, contact information, calendar invites, and more. The average Xobni user saves more than 30 minutes a week, according to a recent Xobni survey, giving a measurable boost to productivity levels over time.
"We are delighted that Xobni has been selected to join Microsoft BizSpark One, the latest expansion of the BizSpark program," said Dan'l Lewin, corporate vice president of Strategic and Emerging Business Development at Microsoft.
