Yaakov Elkon, CEO of Graphnet, Inc., Awarded the 2009 Tower of Hope Corporate Excellence from The Israel Cancer Research Fund

NEW YORK, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Graphnet, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-grade, business messaging, today announced that their CEO, Yaakov Elkon won the 2009 Tower of Hope Corporate Excellence award from The Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) during their annual gala that took place last night in New York.

The Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) is a voluntary charitable organization that receives its total income from private donations. ICRF was founded in 1975 by a group of American and Canadian researchers, oncologists, and lay people determined to harness Israel's educational and scientific resources in the fight against cancer. Its initial purpose was to fund Israeli researchers for postdoctoral fellowships of young Ph.D.'s. ICRF is the only U.S.-based charity solely devoted to supporting cancer research in Israel, which has a direct impact to the global fight of cancer.

The goal of the event is to celebrate the achievements and the vision of ICRF's research scientists, physicians, philanthropists and heroes who are dedicated and devoted professionals that make our world a better place each and every day. The secondary goal is to continue to raise awareness and funding for cancer research. The gala took place November 4, 2009 and was attended by Ambassador, Asaf Shariv, The Consul General of Israel, and special guest, Dr. Yoav Henis, Tel Aviv University.
