ZCL Appoints New Chairman of the Board

EDMONTON, May 14, 2012 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of ZCL Composites Inc. (TSX: ZCL) today announced the appointment of Mr. Anthony (Tony) Franceschini as Chairman of the Board to succeed Mr. James Edwards .

Mr. Franceschini has been a member of ZCL's Board of Directors since 2009.  Mr. Franceschini retired as President and CEO of Stantec Inc. (TSX/NYSE: STN), an international engineering company in May of 2009, and serves on the Board of Directors.  Mr. Franceschini is also a director with Esterline Technologies Corporation (NYSE: ESL), AECON Group Inc. (TSX: ARE) and two other private companies.

ZCL also welcomes, Mr. D. Bruce Bentley to the Board of Directors.  Mr. Bentley is the President and CEO of Maclab Enterprises, an Edmonton based, privately held real estate management and development company.  Mr. Bentley currently serves on the boards of numerous private companies and charitable organizations.

The Board sincerely thanks Mr. James Edwards , previous Chair of ZCL Composites, for providing senior guideance to the Company over the past decade.  The Board of Directors and everyone at ZCL wish him well in his retirement.
