UNION, N.J., May 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The popular baby retailer buybuy BABY®, owned and operated by Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., and Zumbini, an early childhood education program created by Zumba and BabyFirst, have partnered to bring Zumbini classes to select buybuy BABY retail locations across the country. The 45-minute music, dance and educational program for children ages 0-4 and their parents will begin to roll out classes this month.
"Zumbini is a program created for families with children ages 0-4, so it is a natural fit to partner with buybuy BABY to expand our presence and reach a wider audience of parents and their children," said Jonathan Beda, CEO of Zumbini. "Our goal as a company is to bring this educational and developmental bonding experience to as many families as we can, and that's exactly what we're doing with this partnership."
Zumbini uses music and movement to promote cognitive, social, behavioral and motor skill development for children, all while creating the ultimate bonding experience for families during class. Each class session includes a Zumbini bundle for each family to take home, which consists of approximately 20 original songs from class, a songbook with corresponding lyrics and animations, and a plush toy.
"Zumbini will offer buybuy BABY customers a fun activity to participate in with their children and is a great way to meet other parents in their area," said Glen Cary, Vice President of Stores. "This is a unique way to enhance our in-store experience and provide parents and children with a developmental and engaging activity to do in-store."
Created by Zumba and BabyFirst, Zumbini is an early childhood education program for children ages 0-4 and their caregivers. The Zumbini program has been carefully designed to promote cognitive, social, behavioral and motor skill development for young children at a critical age, all while creating the ultimate bonding experience for them and their families. Zumbini is the first early childhood education program to create a true "360°" experience, with live classes, the "Zumbini Time" interactive TV show on BabyFirst TV, and take-home music, books and toys that families receive when they sign up for a Zumbini class. Zumbini strives to bring early childhood education to families around the world, while making the experience fun for both children and their parents.
