A Brief Blog Profile: Put This On

by Thomas Hynes

The name Put This On evokes the tone of helpful valet. There's also an air of authority in this name, too. It's as if the next words spoken would be: 'trust me.'  This is a blog, of course, and not a butler. Still, both can help men dress better. And, just to be very clear, this isn't a blog I just found. I'm happy to say that I've been following this blog on my tumblr dashboard for the better part of the last year.

Put This On can help men in a variety of ways. The site breaks down its posts by item, with sections on ties, shoes, shirts, jackets, coats and accessories. Going further, they also categorize their posts by the seasons of the year. It's not enough to suggest what to wear, this blog also does the when. And while, a lot of the items on here may be considered high end, the site also takes strides for their more financially challenged readers with features like the eBay roundup.

There's also posts on how to master business casual, how to dress for an interview, and how to wear a hat without being (or looking like) a douchebag. If it's not clear already, these guys want to help readers look their best. And they've got a lot to say on the matter. I, for one, am inclined to listen.

News Widget

Our widget allows you to display PR Newswire content on your site with very little back-end programming required.  You not only get the headline, but also the body of text of the news release, keeping the user on your site at all times.  In order to do so, the difference between our Widget and other widgets is at the end of the sign-up process, you will be provided with two pieces of source code -- one for the page where the Widget itself will be displayed and one for the pages that will display the body of text of each news release.  In addition, the sign-up process allows you to have 100 percent control over every aspect of the Widget's appearance, so that the Widget can blend in fully with the look and feel of your site. Still not convinced? Here's what one blogger had to say about the widget.
