2013 CareFlite Paluxy Pedal Promotes Health And Education

The CareFlite Paluxy Pedal is quickly becoming one of the top rides in the state of Texas, bringing approximately 1,000 participants together to enjoy a physical challenge and one of the most picturesque parts of the state.  It starts and ends at the northern tip of the hill country in Somervell County. The meandering paved route takes you through scenic views, gentle hills and challenging climbs including "The Wall", a 0.3 mile stretch with a hill grade of almost 19 percent at its steepest, offering a beautiful view well worth the effort.


Adults and children of all skill levels from novices to advanced riders are invited to participate in this unforgettable annual event benefiting the LDL Education Resources Foundation.

The fee is $30 for adults and $15 for children under 12.

Registration fee on day of ride is $35 for adults and $15 for children.

All riders are requested to be off the course by 3:00 p.m.

Ride distances are 29, 50 and 65 miles. Rest stops and water stations are stationed throughout the course. SAG vehicles will be on hand monitor the course.
