21st Century Learning Solutions Selected as 2013 Recipient of Florida Companies to Watch
ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- 21st Century Learning Solutions (21CLS), an online course development company based in Central Florida with a steady client base nationwide, has been named a recipient of the 2013 Florida Companies to Watch award.
Celebrating its third year, Florida Companies to Watch is presented by GrowFL at the University of Central Florida, and in association with the Edward Lowe Foundation. Florida Companies to Watch honors privately held second-stage companies headquartered in the state of Florida whose contributions, innovations and efforts help create jobs and produce a measurable economic impact.
Eligibility requirements include employing between six and 99 full-time equivalent employees and earning between $750,000 and $50 million in annual revenue, or, having this same amount of working capital in place. Awardees are selected based on their demonstrated intent and capacity to expand their company. The selection committee examines employee growth, sales increases, exceptional entrepreneurial leadership, sustainable competitive advantage, outstanding corporate culture, inspired community giving and other notable strengths.
21st Century Learning Solutions was selected among 49 finalists out of a pool of 600. In addition to 21CLS's flagship course, Technology Driven Classrooms (TDC): Engaging the iGeneration, the company also has an innovative and highly skilled media team to create cutting-edge and cost-effective products.
