    BRISBANE, Calif., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Flowers will be springing up at
 www.walmart.com just in time for Mother's Day.  Beginning mid-April,
 Walmart.com will team up with Dole Fresh Flowers, Inc., to offer a variety of
 gorgeous flowers at Every Day Low Prices.  This will mark the company's entry
 into the flower business.
 
     Customers will find nine different bouquets on the site:
     --  A dozen roses -- red, pink or yellow
     --  2 dozen roses -- red, pink or yellow
     --  Fresh-flower bouquets -- three varieties

 we wanted to come up with an offering that meets our customers' needs," said
 John Fleming, Walmart.com's chief merchant.  "With the price points we're
 offering, as well as the convenience of ordering these flowers online and

     The last day to order flowers to guarantee delivery for Mother's Day is
 Wednesday, May 9, at 9 p.m. (EST).  All flowers will be shipped by Federal
 Express in insulated containers to ensure freshness.
     Walmart.com plans to continue offering roses and fresh-flower bouquets
 after Mother's Day, as the company continues to develop an assortment of great
 gift ideas for its customers.
