MOBILE, Ala., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelerated Technology, Inc. (ATI),
the leader of source code and non-royalty based Real-Time Operating Systems
(RTOS) software, announces a partnership with DCM Technologies, a premier
supplier of intellectual property and design services for computing and
communication industries, to provide Nucleus developers with a source code
Bluetooth solution. The alliance of these two companies will reduce time-to-
market for OEMs planning to extend their product profile into the Bluetooth
 wireless personal area network market.
The BQB qualified software protocol stack -- "BlueTACK" from DCM
Technologies has been integrated into ATI's flexible and scalable Nucleus PLUS
kernel and feature-rich Nucleus NET TCP/IP protocol stack. The integrated
solution of Nucleus and BlueTACK software will give developers the freedom
they need to concentrate on their core competency which is designing and
developing their wireless products and getting them to market faster.
"A few years ago, while in Japan, I was first introduced to the Bluetooth
protocol. After looking into the technology, it was immediately evident to me
that this was a solution that would pervade the embedded environment. Since
that time, we have been involved in SoC designs that have incorporated the
solution and have seen a surge in its acceptance as a protocol that spans the
full range of embedded products. I am grateful for DCM's efforts to integrate
their solution with our RTOS. Access to this type of technology is what gives
our customers the competitive edge that they need to beat their competition to
market. It is a win-win-win situation. A win for us, a win for DCM , and
most importantly, a win for our mutual customers," said Neil Henderson,
 president of Accelerated Technology, Inc.
"We are very excited about our Bluetooth solution with ATI's Nucleus PLUS
and Nucleus NET," said Hemant Bharat Ram, CEO of DCM Technologies. "With this
announcement, which reaffirms our SEI CMM Level 5 quality adherence, the
customers can be reassured of the best Bluetooth solutions to give them a real
competitive edge in the Bluetooth market."
Accelerated Technology provides products and services worldwide to a wide
variety of end-users, OEMs and IC vendors. For more information on ATI,
