ActiveEducation Names Tony Lainez Vice President of Business Development

 (ActiveEducation), a pacesetter in the e-learning industry, announced that
 Tony Lainez has been named the company's Vice President of Business
 Development.  In this position, Lainez will drive ActiveEducation's business
 development activities through strategic partnerships, including OEM
 structures, content licensing, indirect sales channels, and other strategic
 alliances.
     Mr. Lainez brings over 19 years of information technology services,
 strategic direction and partnership development experience to ensure that
 ActiveEducation's solutions continue to meet customers' needs for highly
 interactive blended approaches to learning critical technologies.
     Mr. Lainez has been instrumental in the creation of new business units
 with two Fortune 500 companies.  Most recently, Mr. Lainez was responsible for
 the strategic direction and partnership development with hosting and managed
 services providers for GE Access, the technical distribution subsidiary of GE
 Capital Information Technology Solutions.  Prior to joining GE Access, he
 spent 17 years at First Data Corporation in a variety of business development
 and management roles including key positions within the transaction
 processing, payment instruments and information technology outsourcing
 businesses.
     Mr. Lainez will report directly to James Constas, Senior Vice President of
 Finance and Business Development and will be based out of the company's
 Golden, Colorado headquarters.
