Adjustable Sector Antenna Optimizes Wireless Internet Networks

    CHICAGO, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- MAXRAD's adjustable 2.4 GHz sector panel
 optimizes the performance of wireless data networks by providing technically
 superior performance and a field-adjustable, multiple beamwidth design.
 System installers can stock a single MSP24013MB antenna and field adjust it to
 cover horizontal beamwidths of 45, 60, 90 or 120 degrees with a VSWR of less
 than 1.5:1 and outstanding front-to-back ratio performance.
     "The patent pending design of this panel provides industry leading front-
 to-back ratios of more than 42 dB at 45, 60 and 90 degrees and over 32 dB at
 120 degrees, with excellent cross pole discrimination.  No other sector panel
 antenna currently available in the market can provide the exceptional value

 applications where coverage of a geographical sector is necessary," added

 applications 360-degree omni-directional coverage is obtained by using
 multiple radios with sector antennas.  "This results in a more robust
 installation with a better focused signal than the one achieved by using an

     The new MAXRAD sector panel can also be factory ordered with fixed
 beamwidths of 45, 60, 90 and 120 degrees for applications not requiring field
 adjustment.  Custom beamwidth options are available upon request.  The antenna
 can be fitted with the customer's choice of connector.  MAXRAD MSP sector
