 AER Energy Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board:   AERN) today announced its
 model 4V04 primary zinc-air battery prototype is available for sampling to
 battery companies, manufacturers of portable electronic products (OEMs), and
 potential licensees.  The model 4V04 incorporates four high energy metal case
 zinc-air cells, AER Energy's(R) patented Diffusion Air Manager and a miniature
 air mover into a package designed to fit the Nokia 7100, 6100 and 5100 series
 digital cellular telephones.  The 4V04 battery can operate these Nokia
 cellular telephones up to 4 times longer in talk mode than currently available
 lithium-ion or nickel metal hydride batteries.  AER Energy's model 4V04
 prototype battery has a volume of .065 liters, a weight of 80 grams and a
 capacity of 16 watt-hours.
