Apr 10, 2001, 01:00 ET from Affordable Telecommunications Technology Corp.

HOUSTON, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Affordable Telecommunications Technology
Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: ATTP) announced today that it has closed on its
acquisition of Zmail Media, Inc., a leading Internet Public Access Terminal
(iPAT) provider. Affordable acquired Zmail Media in an all-stock transaction.
The privately-held Zmail Media operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of
 Affordable Telecommunications.
Zmail's flagship iPATs, called Zstations, promote dynamic Web applications
and deliver high-speed Internet access, advanced Internet telephony, e-
commerce and unique advertising opportunities. Companies across the United
States are adopting Zstations as powerful tools to communicate directly with
millions of consumers 'on the go.' Zmail Media recently announced it has
secured contracts to deploy 1,000 Zstations in numerous high traffic locations
in its target market of hotels, truck stops, convenience stores and hospitals
nationwide. Zmail anticipates these contracts will add $9 million to FY01
 revenues.
In addition, Zmail has formed a strategic alliance with the second largest
independently-operated convenience store chain in the country, Pantry Inc.
(Nasdaq: PTRY). The alliance calls for Zmail to roll-out Zstations to a test
market of 75 Pantry stores located across the southeastern United States.
Steve Bethke, president of Affordable Telecommunications Technology, stated,
"We are extremely pleased to acquire Zmail Media at a time when the firm is
rapidly building a nationwide network of Zstations. This acquisition will help
expedite Affordable's efforts to reach untapped markets with Internet access,
telephony service and a host of other multimedia offerings. Zmail adds
lucrative new revenue streams to Affordable and will play an integral part in
the future growth of our business."
Kyle MacDonald, Sr. Vice President of Operations of Zmail Media, stated,
"Together with Affordable, Zmail is focused on increasing shareholder value.
Zmail will leverage Affordable's growing retail presence in the wireless
telecommunications industry to create new opportunities to grow revenues and
 profitability through our Zstation medium."
