AFLAC Incorporated to Release First Quarter Results on April 24, 2001

    COLUMBUS, Ga., April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- AFLAC Incorporated
 (NYSE:   AFL) announced today that it will release first quarter financial
 results after the market closes on April 24, 2001.
     In conjunction with the earnings release, AFLAC will conduct a conference
 call on April 25.  During the conference call, President and Chief Executive
 Officer Daniel P. Amos will discuss AFLAC's first quarter results and the
 outlook for 2001.  Other members of management will also be available for
 comment including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Kriss
 Cloninger; Executive Vice President, Internal Operations, AFLAC U.S., Akitoshi
 Kan; Chief Investment Officer Joe Smith and Chief Administrative Officer Becky
 Davis.
     The conference call will be webcast on the investor relations page of
