CERRITOS, Calif., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Agate Technologies, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: AGTE) today announced the availability of a Windows
2000-compatible driver for their popular Q. USB storage device. The addition
of the Windows 2000-compatible driver signals the company's readiness to
respond to market demand for their product on additional platforms. Agate's
 Q. already provides removable data storage to users running Windows 98, SE,
 and Me.
"Agate has experienced tremendous demand from the Windows 2000 community,
and we are delighted to make the Q. available to meet their data transfer and
storage needs on this operating system," explained John J. Madigan, President

 Q. the first product in our line available to Windows 2000 users. Agate will
continue to respond to customer demand for function on this platform and on
 our other software products."
Agate's Q. USB Hard Drive is a next generation flash memory plug and play
storage product that plugs directly into a USB port, stores 16/32/64 megabytes
of data, and does not require cables or power source. Q. shows up as a
hard drive on the user's system, and the data stored there can be accessed --
including running programs -- as on any other drive. Compact and lightweight
with no moving parts, the Q. can be put into a pocket or on a key ring and can
be used on any other USB-compatible system.
