    SEATTLE, April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- Airborne

next-day express delivery option with a performance guarantee unique in the
 parcel industry.

Airborne customers requiring delivery earlier than Airborne's current
next-morning by noon express deadline may now choose the earlier 10:30 a.m.
option, with a guarantee that they will only be billed the modest
$5.00 surcharge when their package is delivered by the deadline.
"Our employees' performance in meeting our regular next-morning by noon
express delivery deadline has been so exceptional that we can confidently
offer this unprecedented guarantee," explained Carl Donaway, president and
chief operating officer. "We know we can deliver on our promise for this new
service without incurring any substantial additional operating costs."
Donaway noted that an important distinction from competitors' services is
that the new 10:30 option gives Airborne customers the choice of earlier
delivery with the assurance that they pay only for service they need and
receive. "Our competitors offer a earlier delivery commitment on all
shipments, but customers shouldn't be forced to pay that rate if the shipment
doesn't need to be delivered until noon," said Donaway. "Along with our new
10:30 delivery option and our popular next-morning by noon delivery service,
customers can now achieve cost-savings by selecting the type of service they
 truly need."
Airborne's 10:30 a.m. service option, available to most zip codes in the
U.S., is the latest addition to the company's full compliment of shipping and
logistics solutions, including a newly-launched ground delivery service, the
airborne@home business-to-consumer deferred delivery service, and legendary
customer support. Together, they solidify Airborne's reputation among
business shippers as the best value in the industry.
For more than 50 years, Airborne and its subsidiaries have served the
shipping needs of business customers around the world. Today, Airborne offers
total distribution solutions by providing time-sensitive delivery of
documents, letters, small packages, and freight to virtually every U.S. ZIP
code and more than 200 countries. Customers can select from a variety of
 services including same-day, next-morning, 10:30, next-afternoon, second-day,
ground delivery service, air express and freight, ocean service, and logistics
 management.
