"Fred's experience in the financial markets and his overall management
experience will add depth to the executive team to help us grow AirMedia,
first in Europe, then here in the U.S. as the wireless market matures," said
 Mark Bregman, AirMedia's CEO.
Rubin, who will report to Bregman, joins AirMedia from Winstar
Communications, a broadband telecommunications services provider, where he
served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer. While with Winstar, he was
responsible for originating, developing and executing all private, public, and
vendor financing activities and cultivating financial relationships for this
high-growth organization. Additionally, he directed the company's procurement
 and facilities operations.
Previously, Rubin served as acting Chief Administrative Officer for

company's previous investors -- Citigroup Investments, a division of Citigroup
Inc., and Verus International, a privately owned global merchant bank focused
on the migration and globalization of leading edge technologies. The company
plans to use this capital infusion to expand its European operations and to
market its soon-to-be-launched European Wireless Hub, a service that brings
together content providers and distributors in a unique business-to-business
online marketplace. AirMedia launched its Wireless Hub in the US last month.
