Allin Streamlines Its Service Offerings; Solution Areas Reflect Customers' Maturing Technology Needs

Apr 04, 2001, 01:00 ET from Allin Corporation

PITTSBURGH, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Allin Corporation (Nasdaq: ALLN)
recently repositioned its customer-facing teams to focus on three core
solution areas -- Technology Infrastructure, E-Business and Interactive Media.
The focus reflects increasing maturity in the technology marketplace and
enables Allin to provide its target customers with tightly integrated
technology solutions that help them maintain their competitive edge.
It is critical for mid-market companies to maximize every technology
purchase and understand how it will positively impact their business. The
consolidation of the five previous solution areas to the current three allows
Allin to more effectively provide enterprise-level Microsoft(R)-based
 solutions through cross-functional delivery teams.
With the streamlined solution areas, Allin will continue to resolve the
primary technology issues facing businesses today -- finding and sharing
critical information, managing documents, securing critical information,
protecting networks from viruses and intrusion, integrating applications with
business partners, managing and automating business processes, and
 capitalizing on existing technologies.
The Technology Infrastructure area will center on network and application
architecture, messaging and collaboration, and security. The E-Business area
will focus on e-commerce and business information portal solutions. The
Interactive Media area will continue to provide interactive television and
digital imaging solutions. All areas will make use of Microsoft and
Microsoft-friendly technologies such as Microsoft Windows(R) 2000, Microsoft
BizTalk, Microsoft Commerce Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange
2000 and Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server(TM) to develop their solutions.
The solution area teams are already applying the new business focus to
their projects company-wide to allow them to continue providing repeatable,
 effective and successful solutions.
"Our new streamlined service offerings uniquely position Allin to better
anticipate our customers' needs and provide solutions that exceed their
growing expectations," said Tim O'Shea, president, Allin Corporation. "In
addition, the tightened focus will enable the company to take advantage of
Microsoft's .NET offerings and marketing efforts."
