Altair Announces Lithium Titanate and Stabilized Zirconia Products

    CODY, Wyo., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Altair International Inc.
 (Nasdaq: ALTI) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Altair
 Technologies, Inc. (www.altairtechnologies.com) has successfully developed
 essentially 100% lithium titanate spinel (Li4Ti5 O12) and nano sized Yttria
 stabilized Zirconia (YSZ) at its nanoparticle facilities in Reno, Nevada.
 Altair can now produce evaluation samples of the material and interested users
 can obtain product information in summary report form within two weeks.
 Patent applications are being prepared on both materials and Altair believes
 that it has the only process capable of producing commercial quantities of
 either material.
     The lithium titanate spinel is currently under evaluation for advanced
 energy storage devices.  A great deal of interest has been generated in
 advanced energy storage devices as a result of the commercialization of hybrid
 automobiles and fuel cells.   Nano sized YSZ is expected to result in improved
 thermal spray products for corrosion protection, thermal barriers, and
