AMBER Ready to Discuss Ways to Keep Kids Safe and Provide Safeguards like the New AMBER Ready Program

ROCKAWAY, N.J., June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- AMBER Ready is in Ft. Lauderdale to participate in the National PTA Convention where PTA members will be able to enroll their children in the new AMBER Ready Program. AMBER Ready will have a booth (#53) and address attendees at the PTA Family Expo scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Education Tent at Lockhart Stadium at 2:30PM ET.

While in Ft. Lauderdale, AMBER Ready donated an in-car printer unit to the Hollywood Police Department to help reduce the time it takes to begin the search for a missing child. The printer unit will be installed in patrol cars and will allow law enforcement officials to quickly print posters of a missing child or a wanted fugitive.

The AMBER Ready Program allows parents to store and lock their children's vital information and photograph in their wireless phone. In the event a child should ever go missing, law enforcement can utilize the AMBER Ready Program through their parent's wireless phone to transmit the child's information and photo to other agencies and local patrol vehicles and issue a missing child alert.
