"We believe the increased size of the facility fits right in with

on our airplanes, we're giving them more room on the ground too," said Michael
 W. Gunn, executive vice president marketing and planning for American
Airlines. "American Airlines is an industry leader in recognizing and
catering to our customers' needs. These improvements are the latest on a long
list of enhanced products and services American provides to our passengers."
The Flagship Lounge is a 1,750 square-foot lounge, equipped with four
workstations, two containing Compaq iPAQ desktop computers with 17-inch wide

the entrance to the Admirals Club across from Gate A24, and at Terminal B,
adjacent to the entrance of the Admirals Club near Gates B4 and B5. At this
center, AADVANTAGE Platinum and AADVANTAGE Executive Platinum customers may
book reservations, obtain boarding passes and tickets, complete AADVANTAGE

The new facility will be dedicated in the memory of Walter Henry Hagan,
longtime premium customer service manager at DFW International Airport. A
plaque in memory of Hagan is located on the first floor of the facility.
The new facility is almost double the size of the previous Admirals Club
located at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The new Admirals Club
will replace the current center located at Terminal A, Gate A35. There are
two additional Admirals Club facilities located within Dallas/Fort Worth
International Airport that will remain open. The centers are located at
Terminal B, Gate B4 and at Terminal C, Gate C19.
According to Gunn, American continues to look for ways to enhance the
customer experience in the airport and the American Airlines terminals and
gates. For example, in addition to the new Admirals Club, American Airlines
is taking customer service one step further, by providing one-stop curbside
check-in and roving agents in select airports. In mid-2001, one-stop self-
service kiosks also will be introduced, enabling customers with electronic
tickets to check in with the swipe of a credit card or an AADVANTAGE
membership card. Also planned for late 2001 is the introduction of telephone
check in for AADVANTAGE members who are traveling domestically with electronic
tickets and no bags to check.
