American Life League: The Hard Truth About 'Contraception' May Be Found Amid Glamour's Softly Pornographic Lies

Apr 11, 2001, 01:00 ET from American Life League

WASHINGTON, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The pages of Glamour magazine drip
with soft-core pornography. But the issue currently on the newsstands contains
a hidden nugget of hard truth -- the fact that abortion comes in the form of a
 chemical.
American Life League president Judie Brown is quoted in the May issue of
Glamour as saying that "If you use birth control, it's obvious that you're
strongly predisposed against having children. But if an 'accident' occurs,
what happens? You still don't want that baby, and abortion becomes a backup
 contraceptive" (Glamour, "Who's trying to block your access ... ?" p. 218).
After reading the editorial containing her comments, Brown said, "It is
disingenuous for Glamour to promote abortion-causing chemicals -- wrongly
described as 'contraception' -- in the name of reducing abortion rates.
Glamour should be providing its readers with full scientific information about
the abortion-inducing nature of so-called chemical contraception. Abortion
rates are skyrocketing, as expectant mothers are killing their tiny children
with these abortion chemicals -- often unknowingly."
The Glamour editorial begins by asserting, "Yes, they're trying to ban
abortion -- but that's not all. (They) are working hard to prevent you from
getting ... birth control." The preface concludes: "And guess what? They're
 succeeding."
Brown is convinced that American Life League's effort is indeed
succeeding. "ALL's youth outreach is very effective at educating young women
about the benefits of chastity and the lethal effects of abortion,
contraception and sexually transmitted diseases," she said. "ALL's youth
outreach has successfully warned thousands of young Americans about Big
Abortion's desire to lure them into promiscuity, which leads to the deaths of
preborn children and profits for abortionists. But clearly, there are many
more young people who need to hear -- and heed -- our message."

organization with more than 375,000 supporting families. http://www.all.org
