Deal Strengthens ARC's New England Presence and Adds $3 Million in Revenue

    PROVIDENCE, R.I., April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- American Reprographics Company,
 the country's leading provider of reprographic services and technology in more
 than 145 locations across North America, today announced the purchase of Rhode
 Island Blueprint (RIBP), based in Cranston, R.I., a suburb of Providence.
 Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
     "RIBP is a strong entry for us into the greater-Providence market," said
 Suri Suriyakumar, president and chief operating officer of American
 Reprographics Company.  "The company has solid management in place and
 possesses technical capabilities that will benefit both companies immediately.
 We're looking forward to the contributions RIBP will bring to our company."
     RIBP was founded in 1974 by Peter Morin.  Morin operates one location with
 a staff of 17 employees, including his son, Scott Morin, who oversees the
 technical operations of the company.  The firm generated approximately
 $3 million in revenue in 2000.  Morin will continue to serve as president,
 following the ARC precedent of keeping acquired management in place.  "Joining
 ARC opens new competitive technological advantages for us," said Morin.  "Our
 customers will especially benefit from PlanWell(TM)."
