Apr 16, 2001, 01:00 ET from ASV Inc.

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- ASV Inc. (Nasdaq: ASVI)
announced today the launching of a new Web site that addresses a growing
demand for detailed information regarding its unique rubber track technology.
The site also includes an in-depth look at ASV's Posi-Track(TM) All Purpose
Crawlers and the new RC-30(TM) All Surface Loader, complete with full
specifications, work tool listings, equipment videos and a variety of job
stories. The address of the Web site is http://www.asvi.com .
"When you offer equipment with technology as unique and effective as our
rubber track undercarriages, it's important to be able to explain how it works
and why it's different," said Don Powell, Sales Director at ASV. "We designed
our Web site to help answer some of those questions and to provide the public
with quicker and easier access to the information that they most often
request. With the growth within our product line and at our dealerships, the
Internet is one of our best tools for keeping customers, dealers, investors
and the general public informed about what is happening."
The site, which will be continuously updated, focuses on the technology
that sets ASV apart -- the Maximum Traction and Support System(TM) (MTSS)
undercarriage found on the Posi-Track and the R-Series Traction and Support
System(TM) (RTSS) undercarriage on the RC-30. In addition, it also includes
press materials with information on how ASV's patent-pending technology is
being used by Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) and Polaris Industries Inc.
 (NYSE: PII).
"With the information on this Web site, viewers can compare the MTSS and
the RTSS to anything out there, and see exactly why our equipment improves
productivity on virtually any job site," said Powell.
The site also includes a dealer search component that allows users to
locate their nearest Posi-Track or RC-30 dealer based on zip code. In
addition, there is an inside look at the ASV corporation, including an area
where prospective employees can search for current job opportunities within
 ASV.
"We implemented a dealer search and employment opportunities because of
our tremendous growth," said Powell. "We are adding new dealers for our RC-30
at a rapid pace, and we want to ensure that the public can find and contact
 their closest dealer with ease."
Reporters and investors will find the new site useful, too. The site's
newsroom includes application stories, a press release archive and images
ready for publication. The site also contains corporate and historical
information, as well as links to the Nasdaq site, detailed stock quotes,
conference call information, SEC filings and the latest annual report.
The Web site will continue to evolve and grow. Future plans include
secure communications with dealers, service personnel and even individual
 equipment owners.
ASV designs, manufactures and sells all-purpose crawlers and related
accessories and attachments. With its patent-pending Maximum Traction and
Support System undercarriage, ASV leads all rubber-tracked, all-purpose
crawlers in technology and innovation. ASV's products traverse nearly any
terrain with minimal damage to the ground, making them effective in industries
such as construction, landscaping and agriculture.
