    ATLANTA, April 20 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- Atlanta's
 newest professional sports team, The Atlanta Beat, will play its inaugural
 game against the New York Power tomorrow at Georgia Tech's Bobby Dodd Stadium.
 The historic match, to be televised on TNT, kicks off at Noon ET.
     Sony Music Entertainment recording artist, KANDI, will sing the national
 anthem and former U.S. Women's National Team star, Michelle Akers, will open
 the game with the ceremonial first kick.  JP Dellacamera and Wendy Gebauer
 Palladino of TNT will handle the match commentary and analysis.  Prior to the
 game, thousands of Georgia State Soccer Association youth players will
 participate in a parade around the field.
     Stadium box offices and Will Call opens at 10 a.m. so fans can purchase or
 pick up tickets prior to the game.  All gates open at 10:30 a.m.  Fans driving
 to Georgia Tech's Bobby Dodd Stadium have paid parking options around the
 campus.  Those taking advantage of MARTA should get off at the North Avenue
 station and walk two blocks West to the stadium.
     Fans, especially those picking up tickets at Will Call, are encouraged to
 arrive early and take advantage of "Beat Street" an interactive family fun
 zone located in the West Concourse that features a soccer-radar kick, tattoo
 and balloon artists, hair braiders, face painters, refreshments and Beat
 merchandise.
