Atlanta Beat Signs Nine-Game Regional TV Deal With Fox Sports Net

Agreement Supplements TNT/CNNSI National Coverage of Five Games

For a Total of 14 Televised Matches For the Beat's Inaugural Season

    ATLANTA, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Atlanta Beat, a Women's United Soccer
 Association (WUSA) team, today announced an agreement with Fox Sports Net
 (FSN) to broadcast nine games of the Beat's 2001 season kicking off in
 April.
     "Our affiliation with Fox Sports Net helps make The Beat more than just
 Atlanta's team," said Lynn Morgan, general manager of the Atlanta Beat.
 "Now fans across the Southeast will be able to tune into more than half of
 Atlanta Beat games when they can't attend in person."
     The six home and three away games to be broadcast on FSN include:
