Audition Notice for Jewish Ensemble Theatre of West Bloomfield

    WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich., April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- ROMEO & JULIET at Jewish
 Ensemble Theatre (JET) to open the 2001-2002 season in October.
 
     Auditions by appointment -- call 248-788-2900
     April 23, 2001, 1 - 9 p.m.
     April 25, 2001, 2 - 6 p.m.
     required: a Shakespeare monologue not to exceed 2 minutes
 
     A romantic tragedy by Shakespeare tells the story of two young lovers who
 persist in their romance despite the enmity of their families.  The Capulet
 family in this production will be Jewish, and the Montague family will be
 Arab.  JET needs strong actors from the Arab, Jewish, African American and
 other communities to fill all these roles.  22 actors needed, ages 15 to 60.
