Automotive Career Fair Opens at the New York Auto Show

    NEW YORK, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The New York International Automobile
 Show will play host to the first annual Automotive Career Fair on April 17 and
 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The Career Fair will include various auto
 manufacturers, suppliers, postsecondary schools, and dealers and is aimed at
 junior and senior high school students from across the tri-state area.
     "It is tremendously important that students understand how dynamic and
 interesting careers in the automotive industry can be," said Mark Schienberg,
 president of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association.  "Our
 industry is crying out for talented, well trained employees.  The New York
 Auto Show is a perfect venue to show young people how exciting and lucrative
 the auto industry can be.
