Bank One Names Charles Glick Deputy General Counsel for Retail Banking

    CHICAGO, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank One Corporation (NYSE:   ONE)
 announced today that Charles Glick, founder and former chairman of iVantage
 Bancorp, has joined the company as senior vice president and deputy general
 counsel.  He will have legal responsibilities for retail banking.
     Glick, 46, will report to Christine Edwards, executive vice president and
 chief legal officer.
     "Charles Glick has extensive experience in complex issues involving the
 Internet, banking, securities, technology and intellectual property," Edwards
 said.  "That background will help him provide crucial counsel to Bank One's
 managers in running their businesses."
     Glick will serve on the senior management team of R. Michael Welborn, the
 executive vice president who heads Retail banking.  The technology legal
 practice group will also report to Glick.
