Belo Announces Launch of 'My News;' Powered by Strategy.com, My News Delivers Belo's Content Through a Variety of Electronic Devices

 Belo Interactive, Inc., Belo's Internet subsidiary, and Strategy.com(TM)
 Incorporated, a leading provider of one-to-one messaging through Web, wireless
 and voice, have launched My News.  My News is a free personalized service that
 delivers Belo's local news and information content to consumers through a
 variety of electronic devices including e-mail, the Internet, mobile phones,
 pagers and facsimile.  The service features local content produced by Belo
 plus national and global content from various national news services.
     My News provides consumers with news headlines, sports, technology,
 business, politics and entertainment news as well as breaking news alerts and
 other national and global updates via e-mail, the Internet or any choice of
 wireless device.  Together, Belo Interactive and Strategy.com give consumers
 the ability to personalize their news delivery system to include the topics
 that are most relevant to their lives, as well as choose when and how they
 receive it.  Two Belo Interactive Web sites, DallasNews.com and KVUE.com, are
 currently offering My News.  Customers may subscribe by clicking on the My
 News text or advertising link, which connects to the product registration
 page.  NWCN.com and TXCN.com are scheduled to launch My News in late April,
 and KING5.com and inlandempireonline.com will follow in June.  The remaining
 Belo Interactive sites are scheduled to launch the service by October 1, 2001.
