WASHINGTON, Aug. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Blackboard Inc.'s flagship learning management system (LMS) Blackboard Learn® earned the highest scores in a report published by G2 Crowd, an independent software review platform that ranks products based on user reviews and publicly available vendor data.
The survey categorizes products as Leaders, High Performers, Contenders or Niche. It is based upon two characteristics: customer satisfaction ratings from more than 280 educators and administrators, and market presence ratings from publicly available vendor and social data.
Blackboard was the only company identified in the "Leader" quadrant, combining both market presence and customer satisfaction. According to G2 Crowd, "Leaders offer learning management system (LMS) products that are rated highly by G2 Crowd users and have substantial scale, market share, and global support and service resources." The survey is the latest evidence that Blackboard's mission to reimagine education resonates with customers.
"As an education technology company, we work extremely hard to make sure that the users of our solutions - the learners, teachers and administrators - are put in the best possible position to succeed," said Jay Bhatt, CEO of Blackboard. "Seeing direct positive feedback from the users makes us very proud, because at the end of the day, their success equals our success."
