Charles E. Noreen of CyberSource Joins as the Company's First CFO

    MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- BlueArc Corporation,

 systems, today announced that Charles E. Noreen has joined the company as the
 company's first chief financial officer. As CFO, Mr. Noreen will spearhead
 BlueArc's financial team, reporting directly to the CEO of BlueArc,
 Enrico Pesatori.

     Mr. Noreen brings 18 years of finance and senior management experience to

 directing CyberSource's June 1999 initial public offering and their
 November 1999 secondary offering. He joined CyberSource after serving as vice
 president, CFO and corporate secretary for RockShox, Inc. At RockShox, he
 directed their September 1996 initial public offering. Prior to that,
 Mr. Noreen was an Audit Partner with Coopers & Lybrand.
