SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive Press Release/
-- BoldFish, Inc., developer of the premier infrastructure for high-volume
outbound email, today announced the appointment of Dwayne Hull as
Vice President of Engineering. Hull assumes immediate responsibility for the
company's strategic technology development. He brings to BoldFish 15 years of
senior-level experience guiding product development efforts, including
Web-based infrastructure and Internet communications applications. Hull will
support the company's increasing momentum in the burgeoning high-volume email
market space by providing technical management expertise and overall product
development direction to the BoldFish engineering team.
"Dwayne's long-time engineering and product development experience using
Internet email protocols is a valuable contribution to our future direction in
expanding the email infrastructure," said Barbara Tallent, President and Chief
Executive Officer of BoldFish. "With the recent announcements of BoldFish
innovations, including BoldFish Express Network and BoldFish Express Server,
the company is gathering momentum as a driving force in the email
infrastructure marketplace. Dwayne's hands-on experience driving engineering
initiatives at a start-up pace will give BoldFish a significant technological
advantage and ensure that, as our product line evolves, we will maintain our
 strategic market advantage."
As a pioneer in the development of technology to meet the growing demand
for high-speed, high-volume email delivery, BoldFish has created a new
standard for email infrastructure. BoldFish enables the rapid delivery of
personalized email communications -- up to millions at a time -- providing
efficient management of bounced messages and minimizing the load on enterprise
network resources. eCommerce leaders like WeightWatchers.com and Outpost.com,
as well as Fortune 500 companies such as Colgate-Palmolive, have implemented
the BoldFish outbound email platform as an integral component of their
customer communications initiatives, to ensure fast delivery of time-sensitive
 messages.
Hull has more than 15 years senior management experience overseeing
product development efforts in both startup and post-startup situations. Most
recently, he served as the senior engineering manager in server development
for Intraspect Software, a venture-funded software company. While at
Intraspect, Hull quadrupled the size of the development staff and supervised
the development of the company's c-business server for Web-based in-house and
business-to-business email collaboration. Prior to Intraspect, Hull held a
senior position at NCD Software, overseeing the development of a leading
Internet-based email package. Hull also served as Director of Engineering at
Spectragraphics Corporation, where he established the company's development
infrastructure and led the development of high-performance computer graphics
terminal and workstation products. Hull holds a B.S.E.E. from New Mexico State
University and an M.S. in Industrial Administration from the University of
 New Mexico.
