WOBURN, Mass., April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Boston Communications Group, Inc.
(Nasdaq: BCGI), a leader in real-time transaction processing for services like
prepaid wireless, enhanced voice, and m-commerce services, today announced the
signing of four contracts for bcgi's Prepaid Connection(SM) service. New
carriers who have signed on to use the Prepaid Connection platform include

international dialing, m-commerce, and Web care.
"We chose bcgi because their service provides us an opportunity to capture
additional subscribers and revenue by offering a full-featured prepaid
wireless solution," said Linda Jensen, executive vice president of PC
Management. "Emerging markets, including the youth market, those without an
established credit history, and those who prefer cash, are ideal targets for
this service. Prepaid Connection allows us to enhance our wireless offering by
introducing prepaid services with the look and feel of postpaid service.
Furthermore, bcgi's product enables us to effectively compete in the
 marketplace."
"bcgi designed Prepaid Connection for carriers such as these," said E.Y.
Snowden, president and CEO of bcgi. "With the number of prepaid wireless
subscribers expected to grow to 34 million by 2003, according to the Yankee
Group, Prepaid Connection provides small to mid-sized carriers a
cost-effective way to target the prepaid market and enables them to generate
new subscriber growth and increase revenues. In addition, by providing our
carriers with access to bcgi's Distribution Technology Partnership Program, we
have enabled 75,000 replenishment locations through partners like Western
Union(R) and Datascape, in addition to ATMs. Regardless of where prepaid
subscribers live, they can now conveniently access and manage a
 fully-functional wireless account."
