SAO PAULO, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The main advertising professionals in Brazil, the largest Latin American market, have been invited to publish their beliefs and manifestos in a book – to be called "Acredite" (Believe) – which will be launched before the end of this year in Brazil.
The Brazilian advertising market is one of the most dynamic in the world: ad placement turnover totaled some 30.5 billion Reais in 2009, up 4% over the previous year, according to the Inter-Meios project.
Advertising professionals were invited to answer a single question – "What do you believe in?" – in order to encourage them to express themselves in a wide variety of formats: images, text, engravings, photos and drawings.
The book's objective is to put together a historic record about Brazilian advertising in the form of a statement of beliefs, values and visions of the professionals who represent this world-renowned and award-winning industry.
The project, which has been approved by the Brazilian Federal Ministry of Culture, is an initiative of ArteEnsaio with the sponsorship of Universal Channel, and also has the support of Globosat, Clube de Criacao de Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo Creation Club), Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM) and Editora Referencia.
The production of the book is expected to be concluded within five months and all of the stages can be followed through the website acredite.tv.br. At this web address some of the works can be viewed in a virtual gallery in advance of their future publication in the book.
The site also hosts a blog discussing the back story of the project, offering interviews with supporters and invited personalities and presenting curious facts about the creative process of the works that have been received.
