Through the alliance, CA and salesforce.com intend to introduce CA Agile Planner on Force.com to help small businesses and enterprises alike accelerate development timelines while gaining control and visibility over 100 percent of their development initiatives. The intended result will be increased innovation and reduced time-to-market.

CA Agile Planner is designed to build on salesforce.com's agile management expertise. After transitioning to the agile development methodology, salesforce.com has amassed deep expertise on managing innovation. The company shared some of its best practices with CA to help the Enterprise IT Management leader fuel its research and development programs.
By being built on the trusted Force.com platform, CA Agile Planner joins the more than 135,000 custom applications built by the salesforce.com community of 200,000 developers. It will better enable users to simultaneously manage multiple development methodologies such as Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP).
