Campground and RV community celebrates Canadian Camping Week

First Ever Canadian Camping Week Launched Today

QUEBEC CITY, May 19, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The first ever Canadian Camping Week is now underway. Over 435 campgrounds from coast to coast are participating in this inaugural event that showcases all that Canadian camping has to offer.

The 2015 Canadian Camping Week will run from May 19-24. The week-long event is organized by the Canadian Camping and RV Council (CCRVC) in partnership with provincial camping and RV associations across Canada.

As part of this week-long celebration of Canadian camping, participating campgrounds are hosting special events such as fishing contests, jamborees, bonfires and a special offer for two nights of weekend camping May 22-24. Parks Canada is offering a $50 discount on the Discovery Pass.  Information about the 2015 Canadian Camping Week, participating campgrounds, events and camping discounts can be found at www.campingweek.ca.
