Carnival Corporation to Host Live Audio Webcast of Annual Shareholders Meeting

    MIAMI, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual shareholders meeting of
 Carnival Corporation (NYSE:   CCL) -- scheduled for Tuesday, April 17 at 11 a.m.
 -- will be broadcast live on the company's Web site.
     Interested parties may listen to the meeting by visiting
 www.carnivalcorp.com. A replay will be available on the site for one week
 following the event.
     The meeting will include a presentation by Carnival Corporation Vice
 Chairman Howard Frank, who will recap the company's performance for the past
 fiscal year and provide an overview of Carnival's future growth strategies.
 Following the presentation, Frank and senior level Carnival Corporation
 executives, including Chairman and CEO Micky Arison, will entertain questions
 from attending shareholders.
     Additionally, four proposals are scheduled to be voted on at the event
 including, the election of 14 directors; an increase in the number of shares
 in the company's stock option plan; the approval of the 2001 Outside Director
 Stock Option Plan; and the ratification of independent certified public
 accountants.
