    PONTIAC, Mich., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Business owners, commercial
 developers and realtors now have a new tool to identify commercial and
 industrial property in Oakland County.  @ccess Oakland(TM), the most advanced
 Internet-based land and property records search and information service in the
 State of Michigan, is launching the Commercial and Industrial Property
 Profile.  @ccess Oakland(TM) is located at Oakland County's web site,
 www.co.oakland.mi.us .
     The Commercial and Industrial Property Profile is a search mechanism that
 allows users to immediately locate information by property addresses or parcel
 ID.  The Commercial and Industrial Property Profile offers comprehensive
 information including building improvement data, history, current assessed
 value, digital photographs of buildings, aerial maps with lot lines, land and
 building size, number of stories, height, square feet, type of construction,
 tax information and more.
     "Our intent is for @ccess Oakland(TM) users to gather information quickly
 and cost effectively," said Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson.
 "@ccess Oakland(TM) is a great tool because it enables users to immediately
 obtain property information right from their computers -- 24 hours a day,
 seven days a week -- saving a trip to the local municipalities or county
 offices to look up records."
     The Commercial and Industrial Property Profile is updated weekly.  The fee
 for accessing the Commercial and Industrial Property Profile is $12.50 per
 transaction or $15 a month.
     @ccess Oakland(TM) was launched in 1999.  Fees generated by @ccess
 Oakland(TM) are shared with local units of government within the county.
 Other @ccess Oakland(TM) products include:
     * Residential Property Profile - provides a complete description of a
 specific parcel, providing information such as legal description, year built,
 square footage, and number of rooms.
     * Current Tax Profile - provides current property tax information by
 specific parcel.  The Current Tax Profile provides real time access to current
 property tax information located in the database of Oakland County along with
 tax amounts as billed by local treasurers.  This product is used by residents,
 title companies, lenders, and real estate professionals.
     * Delinquent Tax Statements - identifies outstanding delinquent property
 tax obligations by specific parcel.  This product is designed primarily for
 use by title companies and was developed in a cooperative effort with C. Hugh
 Dohany, Oakland County Treasurer.
     * Residential Property Analyzer - a property search mechanism that allows
 people to search the database by specific criteria chosen by the user such as
 location, number of bedrooms, lake front, and age of house.
     * Mortgage Application Acceleration Program - provides economical property
 valuation for people who want to buy, sell or estimate the value of a home
 utilizing comparable housing sales.  Typically, a property evaluation costs
 about $250 -- the fee for this product is $20.  This program was developed in
 cooperation with G. William Caddell, County Clerk/Register of Deeds.
     * Register of Deeds Recorded Document Profile - provides a listing of all
 recorded documents for a specific parcel with capability to access images of
 recorded documents.  It offers the most current data available and frequently
 requested information such as document date, recorded date, amount of sale or
 mortgage amount (when provided) and the names of the grantor/grantee.  This
 program was developed primarily for use by title companies banks, realtors,
 and homeowners.  The Register of Deeds Recorded Document Profile was developed
 in cooperation with G. William Caddell, County Clerk/Register of Deeds.
