Celebrity Cruises Names Keesler Vice President, Total Guest Satisfaction, Operations

    MIAMI, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrity Cruises has named 20-year
 hotelier Robert Keesler vice president of Total Guest Satisfaction,
 Operations.  In his new role, Keesler will oversee the delivery of Celebrity's
 five-star shipboard product and ensure that the line's exacting standards are
 met fleetwide.

     Keesler joins Celebrity from luxury hotel The Broadmoor in Colorado
 Springs, Colorado, where since 1997 he has managed day-to-day operations at
 the 700-suite property as director of Hotel Operations.  Previously, the hotel
 executive worked as general manager of the Westin St. John in St. John,
 U.S.V.I., and as operations manager at the Westin Resort in Hilton Head, South
 Carolina.  Earlier, he held multiple management positions with Ritz-Carlton at
 Dearborn, Michigan, and Laguna Niguel, California, properties.
     The state of Colorado also tapped Keesler's hospitality skills.  For the
 last two years, Keesler has served as vice chairman of the Colorado Tourism
 Office and chairman of the state's Marketing Committee.  In both positions, he
 provided oversight to the state's promotions, advertising and public relations
 activities.  Keesler was named Colorado Hotelier of the Year in 2000.
     Keesler holds a bachelor's degree in business and history from Wofford
 College in Spartanburg, S. C.
     Celebrity Cruises is the highest-rated premium cruise line in the industry
 and has the youngest fleet of any major cruise line.  Celebrity's eighth ship,
 Summit, will launch this Fall, and an additional Millennium-class ship will
