CHICAGO and LAUINGEN, GERMANY, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerpost
Corporation and Communova GmbH today announced a strategic partnership in
which Communova will resell Centerpost's SmartDelivery(SM) service in Europe.
SmartDelivery is a message-delivery engine that enables companies to
deliver information to their customers and employees via any wired or wireless
device. Centerpost, marking its first foray into the lucrative European
market, will use Communova's established presence there to sell its multi-
 channel communications technology internationally.
Launched in 1999, Centerpost brings intelligence to electronic
communications, using an XML-based messaging platform to deliver and enable
responses to SmartMessages(SM) by voice, fax, e-mail or via wireless devices.
SmartMessages allow users to dictate when, where and how they communicate and
transact business, providing users with unparalleled control over the growing
 amount of information they receive.
Communova, founded in 1996, is an information-technology consulting firm
specializing in Internet and database technologies and the development of Web-
based software applications. As one of Europe's premier systems integrators,
Communova has built an extensive client network throughout Europe, including
BMW, DaimlerChrysler and Deutsche Post. By reselling and providing systems
integration for Centerpost's services, Communova will enable a wide-range of
European companies to bolster their customer and employee communication.
"While the U.S. market offers enormous growth opportunities and continues
to be our primary focus, we have seen tremendous interest in our services from
other parts of the world and look forward to extending our reach," said
Juergen Stark, chairman and chief executive officer of Centerpost. "Our
partnership with Communova is the first step in our international expansion
and provides us with an ideal way to enable European companies to take
 advantage of our SmartMessaging(TM) technology."
"Centerpost is revolutionizing the way businesses communicate with their
customers and employees," said Uwe Pranghofer, chief executive officer of
Communova. "We look forward to extending Centerpost's capabilities to
companies throughout Europe and providing their customers and employees with a
messaging service that gives those individuals complete control over their
 communications."
Over 35 percent of the European population has a mobile phone and the
Strategis Group predicts that number will increase to 85 percent by 2007'.
"As the population continues to embrace mobile technology, organizations are
finding they need a cost-effective way to deliver information and conduct
business with customers on any devices their customers choose," said Stark.
"Businesses that don't have a multi-channel communications strategy in place
are at a serious competitive disadvantage."
Communova will work closely with Centerpost to identify prospective
customers, focusing in particular on financial services, travel and logistics
companies. Communova will handle all aspects of the sales cycle and help
customers integrate SmartDelivery with their existing systems. Centerpost and
Communova already are in discussions with several major European travel
 companies and financial institutions.
Centerpost plans further international expansion later this year.
