 Chico's FAS, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHCS) announced today that it will move from Nasdaq
 to the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, April 11, 2001.  To celebrate the
 listing, Marvin J. Gralnick, President and Chief Executive Officer, will ring
 the NYSE closing bell on April 11th.  Chico's stock will trade under the
