China Promotes A Nationwide Telestroke Rescue Network

BEIJING, Aug. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Chinese Strategic Alliance for Industrial Innovation Technologies in Diagnoses and Treatments of Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases (hereinafter referred to as "Alliance") and IVT Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "IVT") jointly announced that both parties signed a collaboration agreement to enhance the National Telestroke Center and develop a nationwide Stroke Rescue Network using IVT's mHealth System. The Alliance was founded in October 2013 under the leadership of the National Stroke Prevention Working Committee run by the National Health Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China. Under the guidance of Article No.189 issued by the National Health Family Planning Commission on March 17, 2015 on promotion of implementing chest pain centers and comprehensive stroke centers in China, the Alliance authorized IVT to implement telestroke centers, comprehensive stroke centers, chest pain centers and regional rescue networks among 300 stroke prevention hospitals appointed by the National Health Family Planning Commission.

Under this Agreement, IVT is also responsible for the integration of advanced technologies from the United States, Germany and China by collaborating with BINZ Ambulance-und Umwelttechnik GmbH, Brilliance Auto Investment (Dalian) Co., Ltd, Bechoice (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd. and XBO Medical Systems Co., Ltd., to deliver to the Chinese market the world's first Stroke Emergency Mobile (STEMO) ambulance, and China's first chest pain mobile ambulance equipped with IVT's mhealth system. With the support of these ambulances, the rescue services which can only be done in central hospitals can now even be extended to rescue sites in rural areas.

IVT is a world leading company for Bluetooth technology and mobile rescue networks. With the assistance from IVT, the General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Command built the first chest pain center in China on March 27, 2011, and had passed the international accreditation by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC) from the USA on August 20, 2012. As of today, IVT has been involved in the development of chest pain centers in over 50 top AAA hospitals in more than 20 cities in China.
