Citadel's Services to People With Mental Illness Receive CARF Accreditation

    LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- ResCare (Nasdaq-NM: RSCR), the

 with special needs, today announced that the Rehabilitation Accreditation
 Commission (CARF) has awarded accreditation to The Citadel Group, a ResCare
 operation in Texas which offers services to people with chronic and severe
 mental illness and other behavioral challenges.  The Citadel Group received
 accreditation for it's psychosocial rehabilitation programs-outpatient
 treatment.
     CARF is a private, not-for-profit international accreditation body that
 measures an organization's quality of supports provided for people with
 disabilities.  The accreditation is awarded to organizations that demonstrate
 their participants are benefiting from the services and that the individuals'
 health, welfare and safety are being protected.
