LOS ANGELES, Oct. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Los Angeles's largest spay and neuter clinic, Clinico, today announced it will change its name to Spay Neuter Project of Los Angeles (SNP LA) in an effort to better communicate to clients and donors the clinics' mission and services.

SNP LA, which has provided over 40,000 high quality, low cost surgeries since 2008, will also offer a streamlined price structure and lower prices for most categories beginning October 15th. While typical pricing for spay or neuter services can often run up to $450, SNP LA's new pricing system charges $65 for cats, $100 for dogs under 30 lbs. and $135 for dogs over 30 lbs.

SNP LA accepts coupons and vouchers from a number of organizations, including Los Angeles Animal Services, which can further lower costs for low income pet owners.

In addition to spay and neuter services, SNP LA also offers low-cost vaccinations and flea treatments on a walk-in basis, with prices as low as $10 for rabies and $16 for canine and feline combination vaccines.
