 CoBiz Inc. (Nasdaq:   COBZ), a $780 million financial holding company, today
 announced new leadership for First Capital Bank of Arizona and Colorado
 Business Bank-Denver Tech Center (CBB-DTC).  Kevin G. Quinn, president of
 CBB-DTC, was appointed president and chief operating officer of First Capital
 Bank.  Jim Conley, senior vice president, CBB-DTC, was named president of the
 Tech Center bank.
     CoBiz Inc. completed the acquisition of First Capital Bank of Arizona on
 March 8, 2001.  The four-year-old business bank has two locations, one in
 downtown Phoenix and another in the suburb of Surprise, serving professionals
 and small to medium-sized businesses.  Harold Mosanko, currently president,
 chairman and CEO of First Capital, will continue to serve as chairman and CEO
 for the bank.

 business administration from the University of Northern Colorado and a degree
 from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware.  He
 has been actively involved in several civic organizations, including the South
 Metro Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America and Volunteers for Outdoor
 Colorado.
