    CHICAGO, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Cobra Electronics Corp. (Nasdaq: COBR), a
 leading global manufacturer of two-way mobile communications products, today
 announced that Andres Delgado has joined the company as Manager, Business
 Development for Mexico and Latin America, effective immediately.
     Delgado will be responsible for the continued growth of business in Mexico
 and the Latin American region.  His knowledge of these key regions, including
 market potential, business development and marketing, will help accelerate the
 expansion of Cobra Electronics.  He will be reporting to Senior Vice President
 of Marketing and Sales, Tony Mirabelli.
     Prior to joining Cobra Electronics, Andres Delgado was the Director of
 International Sales for Casio Communications, where he planned and executed
 market-entry strategies for Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru
 and Venezuela.  Previously, he held the position of Director of Sales and
 Operations for Haschel Export where he was responsible for all marketing and
 sales activities in Latin America.
